Teddy Travels Round'

The purpose of Teddy Travels Round is to help raise awareness about Caminar Latino's Project Teddy Bear

Since 2006, Caminar Latino's SpokesTeddy has travelled the globe, giving children hope and an example that anything is possible.  Each time CL's spokesteddy travels somewhere a picture is taken and loaded onto CL's facebook page.

Currently CL's SpokesTeddy is travelling around Europe with one of CL's supporters, Diana Edelman (www.dtravelsround.com) and has already been to Asia, London, Spain.

Be a part of Teddy Travels Round Project by purchasing two teddy bears for a total of $50 -- one for a child being helped by the organization, and a SpokesTeddy for you to take on your travels. As you travel 'round, take photos of your bear and send them to Caminar Latino so children can see where SpokesTeddy has been.

"20 for 20" Campaign

 At Caminar Latino we are celebrating our 20th anniversary throughout 2010 by focusing on the innovative work that has taken place over the past 20 years. In addition to honoring our past, we are looking forward to the next 20 years and our collective possibilities.

As part of our celebration, we have kicked off our "20 for 20" campaign with a goal of raising $20,000 during 2010! 

What is 20 for 20?

We are asking the friends of Caminar Latino to commit to a minimum donation of $20 to commemorate Caminar Latino’s 20 years of service. So far we have raised over $4,000 but we still have a ways to go!  We hope that you will join us in our campaign and our work to end family violence!
